Founded by Jessica Quillin in April 2010, Quillin Consulting, LLC seeks to address the growing need in the public and private sectors for good writing and quality, research-driven knowledge products and tailored communications/marketing strategy.

Quillin Consulting, LLC comprises a network of consultants and creative professionals with over 10 years of experience across a range of fields. Our consultants bring both extensive real-life experiences as communications directors, writers, educators, and researchers as well as academic expertise at least to the master’s level in their areas of specialization.

Jessica Quillin is a writer, author, lecturer, researcher, and Managing Director of Quillin Consulting, LLC. From 2006 to 2010, she worked as a Sr. Education Research Specialist for American Institutes for Research in Washington, DC. From 2003 to 2006, Ms. Quillin was the Communications Manager for Washington National Opera. At the Opera, she served as managing editor and in-house writer for all major publications, including the bi-annual magazine, website, three e-newsletters, the company’s commemorative 50th anniversary book, marketing collateral, and other miscellaneous publications.

Ms. Quillin received her Ph.D. in English Literature from the University of Cambridge in December 2005, a M.A. in English from McGill University, and a B.A. in English and French from the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor. She has a growing list of publications, including a weekly column for Writer’s News Weekly and an academic book, Shelley and the Musico-Poetics of Romanticism (Ashgate, 2011).

She is an active member of The Junior League of Washington. In her spare time, you will find her roaming the Old Town Boutique District or running by the Potomac with her husband.
